Using WhatsApp Web allows you to access your WhatsApp account on a computer or laptop through a web browser. Here's how to set it up:
1. **Prerequisites:**
- You need an active WhatsApp account on your smartphone.
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection on both your phone and computer.
2. **Access WhatsApp Web:**
- Open a web browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari).
- Go to the WhatsApp Web website: https://web.whatsapp.com/
3. **Pairing Your Phone:**
- On your phone, open the WhatsApp app.
- Tap the three dots (menu) in the top-right corner and select "WhatsApp Web."
- Use your phone to scan the QR code displayed on the web page of your computer. Align the QR code within the frame on your phone's screen.
4. **Logging In:**
- Once the QR code is successfully scanned, your WhatsApp account will now be accessible on the web browser.
- You'll see your conversations, contacts, and messages mirrored on the browser interface.
5. **Using WhatsApp Web:**
- You can send and receive messages, images, videos, voice notes, and documents, just like you would on your phone.
- Notifications will appear on both your phone and the browser when you receive messages.
- You can also use emojis, change profile picture, update your status, and manage your chats.
6. **Log Out:**
- To log out of WhatsApp Web, you can either:
- Tap the three dots (menu) in the top-right corner of the WhatsApp Web interface on the browser and select "Log out."
- On your phone, go to the WhatsApp app, tap the three dots (menu), select "WhatsApp Web," and then tap "Log out from all devices."
Keep in mind that WhatsApp Web is an extension of your phone's WhatsApp account. Both your phone and the computer need to be connected to the internet for WhatsApp Web to function properly. Also, for security reasons, it's advisable to log out of WhatsApp Web on public computers or devices you don't trust.
